Nathan Pearson

Nathan serves as the Senior Pastor of Salem, providing vision, preaching, pastoral leadership, and spiritual oversight for the church. He is passionate about helping people encounter a present God and live a faith that becomes real in everyday life.
Outside of Salem Nathan enjoys time with his wife Kristen and two kids Anna and Opie.

Senior Pastor / Elder

Ryan Combs

Ryan serves as a Teaching Pastor and Elder at Salem, helping strengthen the church through biblical teaching, discipleship, and pastoral leadership. He plays an important role in equipping leaders, developing ministry systems, and helping people grow in their understanding and application of Scripture.

Ryan has a heart for seeing the church become spiritually mature, biblically grounded, and active in serving others with humility and faithfulness.

Bob Herndon

Bob serves as a Teaching Pastor and Elder at Salem, bringing decades of ministry experience, biblical wisdom, and a deep heart for discipleship. He helps teach, pastor, and strengthen the church through Bible studies, pastoral care, and faithful leadership.

Alongside his wife, LeeAnn, Pastor Bob also helps care for Salem’s shut-in ministry. He carries a genuine love for people, a gift for teaching Scripture, and a steady desire to help others grow in their walk with Jesus.

Lydia Athey

Worship Pastor

Lydia serves as Salem’s Worship Pastor, leading the worship ministry with prayer, preparation, creativity, and care. She oversees our worship team, helps shape the sound and flow of our services, and carries a heart to create space for people to encounter God through both modern worship and the richness of hymns.

Outside of ministry, Lydia loves her family deeply and has a gift for noticing beauty, meaning, and worship in everyday life.

Kelly Proctor

Finance Administrator

Kelly serves as Salem’s Finance Administrator, working diligently alongside our Finance Chair and church leadership to help ensure Salem stewards its finances with wisdom, integrity, and care. Her attention to detail and faithful leadership help support the ministry and mission of the church behind the scenes.

Kelly is married to Adam, and together they have a daughter, Adalyn.

Myranel Bryant

Membership Director

Myranel serves as Salem’s Membership Director, helping people get connected, take next steps, and feel welcomed into the life of the church. She loves meeting people, helping them feel at home, and creating a clear pathway for guests and attenders to become part of the Salem family.

Myranel is married to Mike and has been part of Salem her entire life, carrying a deep love for the church and the people who call it home.

Liza Crockett

Creative Director

Liza serves as Salem’s Creative Director, helping lead the communication, design, social media, marketing, and visual storytelling of the church. She brings a strong eye for design, a thoughtful approach to communication, and a heart to serve the local church with excellence.

Outside of ministry, Liza enjoys life with her husband, Ben, and their son, Nate.

Deborah Morris

Salem Kids Nursery Director

Deborah serves as SCC’s Nursery Director, caring for our youngest children and helping create a safe, clean, and loving environment for families. She has faithfully served in children’s ministry since before the church was in its current building and brings years of experience, wisdom, and care to the ministry.

As a former daycare owner, Deborah carries a deep passion for children and a heart to help our youngest ones feel loved, protected, and cared for.

Joey Zarzana

Maintenance Director

Joey serves over maintenance at Salem, working behind the scenes to help ensure the church is cared for, prepared, and ready for the services, ministries, and activities that take place each week. He has a heart to see Salem at its best so people can gather, worship, and be served well.

Joey is retired from the military and is married to Hope.

Elder

Nailon Pucket

Nailon serves as an Elder at Salem and has been a faithful part of the church for many years. He and his wife, Sharon, have served Salem in many different ways, carrying a deep love for the church and for the people of this community.

Nailon has a heart to see God move in people’s lives and a desire to help Salem remain faithful, grounded, and present in the community God has called us to serve.

Hope Zarzana

Pastoral Care Director

Hope serves as Salem’s Pastoral Care Director and Team Lead, helping care for people and strengthen the systems that support church life. She brings steady leadership, attention to detail, a servant’s heart, and a deep desire for people to feel seen, known, and cared for.

Outside of ministry, Hope loves serving her family, encouraging others, and helping create spaces where people feel welcomed and supported.

Courtney Sagar

Salem Kids K-5 Director

Courtney serves as Salem’s K–5 Kids Director, bringing a wealth of knowledge, care, and intentionality to Salem Kids ministry. She has a heart to see young people encounter Jesus in a way that is safe, engaging, and meaningful for their everyday lives.

Courtney is married to Ronnie, and together they have three children: Aria, William, and Oliver. Her family is her world.

Jaime Mobley

Salem Youth Director

Jaime serves as Salem’s Youth Director, leading and investing in students with a heart to see them thrive in their God-given purpose and calling. Having grown up in Salem’s youth group herself, Jaime carries a deep love for this ministry and a desire to help students build real faith, meaningful friendships, and a strong foundation for life.

Jaime is married to Jon, and together they have three children.

Jon & Kim Harris

Missions Director

Jon and Kim serve as our Missions Directors, helping lead SCC in outreach, and practical ways of serving others. They have a passion to see the church operate as God intended — present in the world bringing the love of Jesus beyond the walls of the church.

Jon is retired a retired military helicopter pilot, and Kim works in real estate. They bring experience, compassion, and a heart for people to Salem’s mission work.

Diane Grayer

Salem Kids Toddler Director

Diane serves as Salem’s Pre-K Director, helping create a caring, safe, and engaging environment for children as they learn about Jesus. She has served faithfully alongside Deborah for years, bringing consistency, love, and a steady heart to Salem Kids.

Over the years, Diane has seen her own family grow from children’s ministry into deeper involvement in the life and leadership of the church, giving her a meaningful perspective on the impact of investing in the next generation.

Terry Hicks

Facilities

Terry serves on Salem’s facilities team, helping ensure the building is prepared, cared for, and ready for services, ministry gatherings, and events throughout the week. His behind-the-scenes faithfulness helps create spaces where people can worship, connect, and be served well.

Terry has a deep love for his family, and on Sundays you can even find him serving in Salem Kids.
