2026-2027 Season Information

Welcome! We are committed to building faith, teamwork, and character through Christ-centered basketball. Our mission is to empower young athletes through the game of basketball by fostering Christ-centered values and creating a spirit of fellowship and community. We strive to develop character, discipline, and leadership on and off the court, while glorifying God in all we do.

This season, we are offering teams for grades K-1, 2-3, and 4-5! 

Grades 4-5 season: Practice begins the week of October 19, 2026. Games will begin on November 7, 2026 and run thru December 19, 2026. 

Grades K-1 and 2-3 season: Practice will begin the week of January 4, 2027. Games will begin January 16, 2027 and run thru February 20, 2027.

All basketball events will be held in the Salem Community Church gymnasium. The entrance is on the right side of the church, down the hill. Practice entrance will be through door D. Game entrance will be the door under the covered walkway to the left of door D.

Cost: $70 (includes jersey) Payment due before or on evaluation day

Registration:

Grades 4-5: September 7-21, 2026

Grades K-3: September 28 - October 19, 2026

Evaluations and Parent Meeting

4-5 grade: September 28 or 29, 2026

K-3 grade: November 7, 2026

Your athlete will receive a specified time slot. We will be hosting player evaluations to ensure a balanced skill level across all teams. During this time, parents will also attend a meeting to review procedures and expectations.

Practice

Teams will practice once a week. Practices will be held on Mondays OR Tuesdays at 5:30p and 6:30p.

Games

Games will be held on Saturday mornings. We will have a 6 game season with some flexible dates built in for weather.
