Membership
Membership at Salem is more than adding your name to a list. It is a way of saying, “This is my church family, and I want to be planted here.”
We believe God places people in a local church on purpose. Salem has something you need, and you have something Salem needs. When we belong to a church family, we are better connected, better cared for, and better equipped to serve one another and our community.
As a member of Salem, you become part of the spiritual and practical life of the church. Members are connected to care through our deacon ministry, receive firsthand communication about church life, have access to our members’ Facebook group for prayer requests and updates, and are able to participate more fully in the rhythms and resources of the church, including building reservations and Salem Cemetery access as applicable.
Membership helps create clarity, connection, and care. It allows us to better know who calls Salem home, how to serve one another well, and how to steward the church faithfully for the future.

Why Membership Matters
Membership helps us move from attending a church to belonging to a church family. It creates a clear pathway for connection, care, communication, and commitment.
At Salem, members are not spectators. We are family. We pray for one another, serve alongside one another, grow together, and help carry the mission God has given this local church.
