Salem Community Church Basketball 2025-2026 Season Information

Welcome!

We are committed to building faith, teamwork, and character through Christ-centered basketball.

Our mission is to empower young athletes through the game of basketball by fostering Christ-centered values and creating a spirit of fellowship and community. We strive to develop character, discipline, and leadership on and off the court, while glorifying God in all we do.

This season, we are offering teams for K-1 and 2-3 grades - check back to see if we will be expanding!

*player must be 5 years old by January 1, 2026

All basketball events will be held in the Salem Community Church gymnasium. The entrance is on the right side of the church, down the hill. Practice entrance will be through door D. Game entrance will be the door under the covered walkway to the left of door D.

Cost

$70 (includes jersey)

Registration

Pre-registration for church members will be available before it opens to the public.

Registration will be via Google Form accessible on our Facebook page or website (www.salemcommunity.church)

Evaluations and Parent Meeting

We will be hosting player evaluations to ensure a balanced skill level across all teams. During this time, parents will also attend a meeting to review procedures and expectations.

Practice

Practices will be once a week for each team

Games

Games will be held on Saturdays

We will have a 6 game season

Season will conclude with a “Championship Week”
